MEMBER PROFILE
An introduction to some of the people at Hajimari
Yoshihiro Nakama
Executive Directors
Biographical summary
In 2006 Yoshihiro Nakama joined the world’s largest non-Japanese head-hunting group by market share.
The youngest consulting leader in Japan at the time, Nakama became independent in February 2008 and, at the age of 24, founded Grow Up Co., Ltd.
In September 2013, Nakama launched Kimisuka, Japan’s first scouting-based online service, on which students could share their job-hunting
experiences. Today 150,000 students register with Kimisuka every year, comprising one-third of all students seeking jobs in the private sector
in Japan.
Later, Nakama rolled out a succession of websites focused on recruiting, including Londel, a personnel-transfer support service.
Realizing that he identified with Hajimari’s vision of “growing the ranks of independent personnel to increase happiness in people’s lives,”
Nakama decided to join the Company.
What is your area of responsibility?
I do whatever it takes to make Hajimari grow; I’m flexible.
Most recently my work has been focused on the TUKURUS Division, our organization of engineers, and Pro Partners,
our freelance-matching service.
Management is my calling, so rather than limiting myself I want to keep doing whatever is necessary to improve society and build the Company.
What kind of company is Hajimari?
Hajimari is a Company that can attend to customers’ needs with sincerity.
Many of our members are young and ambitious with plenty of potential, so our Company has plenty of room to grow.
What is your vision going forward?
My constant wish is to do work that will leave a significant impact on the world.
I believe that if I work diligently, not only will I feel motivated but all our members will feel the excitement of what we’re doing every day.
We’re creating a business whose members work with a sense of purpose, because they know they are changing the world for the better.
